There is an issue in Tableau Desktop where axis rulers on the column shelf (X-axis) do not appear in a dashboard when the header display for the column shelf is turned off in the sheet. However, this issue does not occur when **navigating to the sheet itself** or when **publishing to Tableau Server**, so you can simply ignore it if no additional action is required.

If you want the axis rulers to display correctly in Tableau Desktop, you can easily resolve the issue by **increasing the thickness** of the axis rulers by one level.
